Day 1 : Arrive Paro
During the journey, one will experience from the left hand side of the plane breath taking view of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks including the sacred Jhomolhari and Mount Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by representative from Bhutan Majestic Travel who will escort you to Down Town of Paro for Special Warm Welcome Lunch by your host Namgay Dorji. Enjoy lunch in quaint Paro village and we then proceed to visit the National Museum (Ta-Dzong) once the watchtower for Rinpung Dzong. It was converted into the National Museum in 1968. The museum stands on a promontory overlooking the Paro valley in all its glory. On the way back visit the Paro Rinpung Dzong. A flagstone path rises gradually from a beautiful wooden bridge with shingle roofing and abutted by two guardhouses, to the dzong. Today the Dzong is the seat of the district administration as well as home for the monastic school. The central tower (Utse) of the Dzong, displays superb woodwork. A 2-hour drive brings us to Thimphu, Capital of Bhutan.

Day 2 : Paro – Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu, the Capital, 65 Kms. It takes about 2 hours drive. The drive to Thimphu takes you along the Paro Chu (Chu means water or river) down stream to the confluence with the Wang Chu, then turn upstream and travel along the Wang Chu to Thimphu. Check in at the hotel. Visit the Memorial Chorten (a huge stupa) built in memory of the third King of Bhutan who reigned the Kingdom from 1952-1972.Visit the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved Visit the Painting School where traditional arts and crafts are still kept alive. Visit the handicrafts Emporium where Bhutanese textiles and other arts and crafts are displayed and can be purchased. Visit Simtokha Dzong. This is one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan. It was built in 1629 A.D. Overnight Hotel in Thimphu.
Day 3 : Thimphu - Punakha: Distance 77kms 3Hours Drive
After Breakfast driving for an hour reaches you to Dochula Pass at 3150mts where you get magnificent view and good photo stop of the Eastern Himalayas, Tea & Coffee will be served at the Pass Tea House. Descend down to Punakha which will take another Two hours and check in the Hotel. After lunch Hike to the Famous devine Madman's "No Dog Monastery" or Chhimi Lhakhang or Temple of Fertility. It is tradition that when couple's get married for long time and doesn't result to pregnancy then they go to this monastery and get blessed and for sure the woman gives birth. Punakha is the former Nation's Capital and today it is the winter capital for the Monastic body. Overnight Hotel in Punakha.
Day 4 : Punakha Festival
Drive to Punakha Dzong takes roughly half an hour with an photo stop at Punakha High School which is the Confluence view of Dzong and where the Pho (Male) Chu (Water-River)and Mo (Female) Chu (Water-River) joins together and forms Puna Tsang Chu. Full Day witnessing the annual Punakha Dromche or Tshechu. Picnic Lunch will be served and enjoy with the people from Punakha. Overnight Hotel in Punakha.
Day 5 : Punakha - Gangtey: Drive: 3Hours Altitude: 2900mts
Morning witness the Punakha Festival. After Lunch drive to Wangdue and visit the Wangdue Dzong and both Punakha and Wangdue are at same altitude of 1300mts, warm place. Continue driving to the Winter residence of one of the endangered species of Bird the Black Necked Crane who moves here from Tibet, China and goes back early Spring. Enjoy the Bird Watching and overnight Hotel in Phobjikha.
Day 6 : Gangtey - Bumthang Drive 6Hours. Altitude 2500mts Top
Drive to Bumthang and pass Pelela Pass at 3340mts and enjoy snow capped himalayas and descend down to Trongsa for hot lunch. Visit the Trongsa Dzong and continue driving to Bumthang "Golden Vase Valley". Overnight Hotel in Bumthang.
Day 7 : Bumthang - Bumthang
Visit to Swiss Cheese Making Factory and Red Panda Beer Manufacturing unit. Visit Jakar dzong "White Bird Castle" built in 17th century. Visit to Jambay Lhakhang the oldest monastery built in 659AD by Tibetan King to subdue Ogress in Tibet and built 108 Monasteries and two are here in Bhutan and the other one is the Kyichu Monastery in Paro. Drive to Kurjey Monastery and do a short hike crossing over Chamker Chu (River) to Tamching Monastery. After visiting the Tamshing Monastery, the residence of Great treasure Discover Pema Lingpa and now private monastery, visit the Kharchu Monastery, private monastery maintained by Lama Namkhai Nyingpo. Overnight Hotel in Bumthang.
Day 8 : Bumthang - Ura - Bumthang Drive: 2Hours
Drive to beautiful Ura valley, and explore the village and visit to the Ura Monastery. Picnic Lunch will be served. One the way back to Bumthang visit the Burning Lake "Mebar Tsho" on the Tang River. Overnight Hotel in Bumthang.
Day 9 : Bumthang - Punakha Drive: 7Hours
Drive to Punakha crossing Yotong la at 3400mts inbetween Bumthang and Trongsa. Lunch will be served at Chendibji where one can see the Nepalese Style Stupa recognizable because of the eyes on the Stupa. Continue driving to Punakha and afternoon stalling the down town of Punakha. Overnight hotel in Punakha.
Day 10 : Punakha - Thimphu Distance 3Hours. Altitude 2260mts
Drive to Thimphu and check in the hotel. Visit the Thimphu Mini Zoo where you can see our National Animal The Takin, which has got head of a Goat and body of a Cow as per the legend it was created by famous Devine Madman. Visit to Zilukha Nunnery where you can see nuns. visit the Traditional Paper making Factory, where the bark of Daphne tree is changed into a daily usable paper. witness a Archery Match at the National Stadium, Changlingmithang.
Day 11 : Thimphu - Paro
Early breakfast and drive to Paro and check in the hotel or drive to the base of Famous Tiger's Nest for the Day Hike. Afternoon visit the ruin Fortress and Kyichu Monastery. Overnight hotel in Paro.
Day 12 : Paro Depart
Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to the airport for flight to onward destination.
